What Makes You A TRUE Diva?
I am not sure that I am a true DIVA, well I’m not the prima dona Diva, though I was an actress but am now a lawyer, and in some ways I suppose I am brave and a good role model. While it has taken me many years of struggling with my body image, as we all have, thanks to society and the media, I am finally proud to be in my own skin and grateful for the progression in body image that magazines such as Venus Diva embrace. Most of my life I have overtly challenged body images portrayed as attractive, but held a secret within, so it is wonderful to finally be liberated! I do believe beauty is within and am truly inspired by the women who are out there looking just as amazing or even more so than the prototypical models! So if embracing one’s own skin is being a true Diva and advocating that beauty is a measure of human kindness, then maybe I am a true DIVA after all.
