What Makes You A True Diva?
I am a happy bubbly goofy person. I started modeling at age 12 in MD where I grew up. I did live in Germany for a few years during my early childhood. I was a 5’9” bean pole in high school and college. School was very important to me so I only modeled a little at that time. I received a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication. I am very proud I have a degree. Now I reside in Boston where I am working very hard on my Plus Size Modeling Career. I was very excited to no longer have the pressures of trying to be a size my body cannot be anymore. I love to eat (healthy). My father is a doctor and surprisingly became diabetic due to weight gain and poor diet. He is no longer diabetic due to weight loss and proper diet. So being healthy is important to me. My day to day life is what really makes me a True Diva! My Day job is working for a place that helps people with addiction and other issues. It can be very hard, intense and tiring. But the days when I see how much we have really helped someone, are very rewarding. I also give advice and information to girls just starting out in modeling which is similar to me starting over as a plus size model. I am constantly on the go with my job, working on my plus size modeling career and enjoying my home life with my hubby. It took me a long time to embrace my body changes & curves. I had to change my wardrobe and food choices. I want to be the best advocate I can for women with curves. Love yourself and be healthy!
