Gayla Bentley, Plus Size designer extraordinaire recently appeared on Shark Tank. For those of you who don’t know, Shark Tank is a television show that airs on ABC in which five Sharks (business tycoons) hear investment proposals from entrepreneurs and consider whether to invest in the businesses.
Gayla Bentley, known in the world of Plus Size fashion for her high end luxury clothing is ready to take her line global. By going on Shark Tank her goal was to get a business tycoon to invest money into her business so her clothing can enter department stores allowing all women to enjoy what she has to offer.
As a woman whose been designing for over 10 years, she has experienced first hand what it feels like to go places only to buy accessories because nothing in the store comes in your size. She wants to offer plus size women affordable clothing that makes them feel good.
Lucky for us and her, her pitch was well received by one of the tycoons so expect to see Gayla Bentley in a department store near you.
