A Letter to Designers Karl Lagerfeld & Ralph Lauren

letter Dear Mr. Lagerfeld and Ralph,

I find it appaling that you would openly express your dislike and disgust for people over a size 4 in the manner that you have. Let’s be real, Mr. Lagerfeld I heard that you haven’t been a slim Jim your entire life so who are you to allow comments filled with hate to come out of your mouth. Currently, I’m working out on a daily basis and I doubt if my weight loss will result in the misuse of my tongue. Personally, I think you’re just trying to be one of the “cool” kids by making your comments. Deep down inside it must hurt you to know that when you were chubby, they would never have accepted you. I guess the old saying, “If you can’t beat them, join them” applies to you.
As for Ralph, my Man! We go way back. All the way back to high school and college. I used to rock your t-shirts all the time and guess what Ralph, I’ve always been a chubby chick. I have always worn your clothing and helped you build your empire. That’s right Ralph, I and so many others over a size 4 built your empire. Now I can’t take credit for helping Mr. Lagerfeld out because I don’t know him like I know you Ralph. I would say that I’m surprised at the way that you both have acted but, Nope…I’m not.
However, I am thankful to both of you men. By talking out the side of your ass (is that even possible) you have ignited the fire under so many people in the plus size community. You have united a nation of size 4 and uppers. If people larger than a size 4 and smaller than a size 14 didnt understand our struggle, they understand it now (I hope).
In closing, You’re Going Down!! You may not feel the financial affects immediately of what you’ve done but by now your nose, ears and eyes should be twitching because we’re talking about you both and it’s nothing nice. The moral of the story is that you’re always “On the record” because you’re famous but I appreciate you showing your self to us because now we really know how you feel.
