I recently got out the Army after serving for 2 years. Now I am a Sales Tax Accountant, a Bartender, and a full time mommy to the cutest baby boy, Aidan. As you can tell, I like to stay busy!

What are your favorite things about your city?
I love that there is a little something for everyone. Whether you love the outdoors, like to go surfing, or are a ‘shop till you drop’ kind of gal like me, you can find it all here. Whether you’re in the mood for, L.A can always be of service. ???

If you were showing someone your city, where would you take them: ??

To Shop?
I would definitely have to take them down to Melrose. There is something for everyone here, not to mention a big tourist attraction. I would also take them to South Coast Plaza and Fashion Island, my 2 favorite malls! Fashion Island is an outdoor mall so there’s a lot to do and see just walking around. ??

To Dine?
This one’s hard! There are so many good places to eat in L.A. But for some quick grub, I would definitely have to take them to the legendary Pink’s Hot Dogs on Sunset. One bite of their chili cheese hot dogs and you’ll be hooked! As for a nice restaurant, Spago in Beverly Hills is one of my favorite Italian places. It’s owned by Wolfgang Puck and you can almost guarantee that you’ll spot at least one celebrity there on a weekend night. If you like sushi, I would recommend either Geisha House or Kabuki. The prices are a little high but you definitely get what you pay for. ??

Sightseeing?
Grauman’s Chinese Theater is definitely a tourist hot stop. You can spot all the handprints of major celebrities as well as look for their Star on the Hollywood walk of fame. The world famous Getty Center is also a great place to go. This great museum sits on the hills of the Santa Monica Mountains and has an amazing view of Los Angeles and the Pacific Ocean. And of course, who can’t forget DISNEYLAND! Visitors definitely need to visit the happiest place on Earth! ??

And where would you recommend they stay?
It would really have to depend on what they wanted to do. If they were here for the nightlife, they would want to stay in the Hollywood or Downtown L.A area. The Bonaventure Hotel in Downtown L.A has a revolving bar/restaurant on the top floor. It’s great dining with an amazing view. If they were here mostly to relax or sightsee, I would recommend they stay by the beaches. Newport Beach is in Orange County but only about a 30 minute drive from L.A. It’s such a beautiful area and lots of things to do. ???

Anything else you would like to share about your amazing city… favorite hangouts, bars, stores, etc.?
I love going down to Hermosa Beach to hit the bars. The pier has about 10 bars/clubs open daily. I love it because it’s not as crazy as Hollywood but you still have the party atmosphere at half the price It’s really laid back and you don’t have to really worry so much about dress codes, long lines, or parking. For a night out with the girls, this is a great place.
